With the work "Catastrophes" by Eratosthenes, a book with the name of the great Alexandrian thinker is published for the first time in modern Greece. It is, of course, part of a work of no special claims, both because of its object and because of the wear and tear it has suffered. But it has an importance. It is the work of Eratosthenes !

It refers to 44 constellations of the two hemispheres of the celestial sphere, and briefly describes their respective myths and the main stars that make them up.
